NT Operations Engineer
Migration of Lotus Notes 4 with Windows NT 4 server on a Novell 4.12 network to Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Windows 2000 server Active Directory Based network. Upgraded Hardware from COMPAQ 1600 to HP/Compaq DL580.

Wrote Visual basic script to enumerate WMI services, applications, domain user and groups for different Window 2000 servers. Build and Deploy servers for IIS 5 &6. Build and deploy servers for Oracle 8i. Build and deploy servers with CITRIX terminal services for Microsoft Windows based applications. Migrated SAP R3 4/5 from Windows NT 4 server to Windows 2000 server . Migrated rights management from the NT 4.0 domain and DCs to the Windows 2000 based Active Directory . Upgraded SAP hardware from Compaq 3000 to Compaq DL580. Used NMAP, NESSUS, and winfingerprint to do ICMP ping to get detailed application information on decommissioned servers.

Used Microsoft Project 2003 server to plan , control and implement server consolidation and software rollouts. Project was; reduce server count from 800 to about 600. Server count at the end of my project was 485. Three month project to quantify SCSI -III hard disk replacement consumption rate( three to four 18.2GB hot swap hard disks per week). Project to update Remedy ver. 4 asset tracking systems with; server owner, application, hardware description, de-commision date, serial number, application owner, application users, hardware asset physical location. Project was to build from bare metal Nexida DATABASE for MP3 file data warehouse (1.2 Terabyte database, based on 1 x HP/Compaq DL580 G3 server). Project was to identify 85 servers with out documentation. Project was to migrate data from legacy SAP systems to new SAN based storage array, based on HP ML370 10 TeraByte SAN storage array. Moved data and maintained legacy SAP, MS SQL 2000, database function, NETBIOS names and IP addresses.

Wrote detailed reports with information on applications on different ports. Provided on Call 24/7
technical production support for Microsoft Exchange 2000, Microsoft SQL 2000, Oracle 8i and SAP R3 4/5. This Data Center was 2000 machines with 600 Microsoft Windows machines. Used Remedy 4 and HP/Compaq Insight Manager for sever deployment, problem resolution and tracking.

, IIS 6.0, SQL 2000, J2EE JBOSS development platform . Customer is in Japan, Software Development in Houston, and Application servers will end up in Singapore. Setup the application and development servers so that they are behind a firewall, set-up WAN Access to the servers, remote desktop connection/terminal services to servers, remote install of security patches, security audit, anti-virus patches, and disaster recovery procedure. Wrote login scripts for Houston developers and Japanese end users integrating AD object access in the domain schema. Maintained a network of 20 servers.
